My mom is a hairdresser and has always owned her own salon. So I guess you could say that becoming a hairstylist was an easy fit. I graduated from The Salon Professional Academy in Perrysburg, Ohio in 2008. As someone who had a hard time embracing her natural curl (and actually hating it at times) while growing up, I came to the realization that I could help others in the same situation. Once I took my first naturally curly hair class, I quickly realized I had found what I wanted to specialize in. I’ve taken many curl cutting and styling classes during my time as a stylist. Continuing education is a big part of my career. I believe it’s important to keep learning and growing, no matter your age. I work at a beautiful salon in downtown Wooster, where we love to laugh and have fun. I’ve been married to my husband, Eric, for 14 years. We have two children, Beatrice (10) and Otis (6)). I feel so lucky that I have such an amazing support system at home. If I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually spending time with my family, editing my social media content, cooking/baking, running, reading or binge watching a new show.
